I provide healing to the soul and a salve for the mind through deep interaction design knowledge, brilliant user experience design talent, and solid web development skills.

It might not save your soul, but there's no question great design can't help supercharge your products by providing tangible business value. Please consider investing in user experience and interaction design resources for your company. If not me, than someone reputable and experienced. Your customers and shareholders will thank you.

If you're interesting in learning more about interaction design, user experience design, usability, interface design, or anything else (I'm quite the game show junky), feel free to write me. I'll be glad to help out.

This site was created December 2007 (which makes it fairly new or horribly out of date.) Depending on my employment status, work projects, side projects, home projects, The Bryant Park Project, and my general exuberance level, this site will be improved and expanded into something more than a vanity site.

Stay tuned, folks.

Some of my favorite sites

  • Boxes and Arrows — A site about discussing, improving, and promoting the work of the information architecture and interaction design community.
  • Square Peg Consulting — One hell of a .NET and Ruby on Rails architect. If I have a development question, he's the guy I consult. And rarely is he at a loss for the answer.
  • 5ThirtyOne — Derek Punsalan is a great visual designer and writes a pretty entertaining blog (that is not barely cogent, like mine.)
  • 43 Folders — Merlin Mann helps me hit my Getting Things Done (GTD) nub. Was more of a favorite in the past. Lately I feel Merlin's has gone a bit too commercial on me. Please note that once this site has lots of traffic, I will totally jump the shark of capitalism and make Merlin look like NPR.
  • Politico and CQ Politics — Gotta get my daily fix of politics. It's my civic duty. And for some perverse reason, I'm attracted to the spectacle of it all. Also, I can name every senator in the USA by state. That does not make me a young Rain Man.
